i was looking through the futureshop flyer and i saw a pack of 15 fujifilm dl 2.4x dvd's fro 24.99 cdn! im not sure about the quality of these disks, but i know its one hell of a deal.
Thanks for the info fellow Canuck. Best place (in Ontario at least) for your media is anywhere but FutureShop (they just live CMC Mag's--pieces of s__t).I love Staples (verbatim yah baby).
For Whatever it maybe worth , was in New orleans wed. & thur. And went to Kmart Today . I checked the Media area of the Electronics section .They had Fuji's but only taiwans ! They Had Sony MIJ 8X DVD+R & DVD-R MIJ all you wanted well I saw 6 spindles of 50 on the shelf of the DVD+R & about the same for the DVD-R the pluses code out to Taiyo Yuden 's But the were'nt on sale $29.99 for 50 but if someone else puts them on sale might be worth it to see if BIG K will pricematch ! For Whatever it's worth happy burning... ps#1 these are single layer disc not DVD+R DL media
The only DL media I trust or will buy is verbatim DL dvd+r's. They can be had most anytime for $2.00 a disc and even less on sale. They will burn ok at 4x but I still usually burn them at 2.4x just to be safe and to have lower PIE's nd PIF's.
how about memorex dl? arent they supposed to be made by ricoh or someone other than cmc-mag. at bestbuy they have a 10 pack of dl's for 17.99. this is the first time ive seen dual layer discs under 2.50-3 dollar range. the verbatim ones are always around 3 dollars a disc so im trying to look for alternatives. but if there's a big dif in quality, i guess i'll go to the states sometime in the summer and pick up a few packs for 2 bucks a disc
