I've been having a recurring problem of late. I copy a disk by using DVD Fab Decrypter, then DVD Shrink, and burn with Imgburn. Normally, there is no problem, but recently the audio for some of the special features items on DVDs does not work on the copy. Recently, this has happened with Firewall, and the Incredible Mr. Limpet.

Has anyone else had this problem and most importantly, is there a way to solve this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi scq
Welcome to aD

Haven't had this problem but let's see what we can do.
Are you using the latest DVDFab Decrypter - 2.9.7.9?

When you have the movie in Shrink click on the special features - is the audio listed there? Try playing the special features in Shrink that you having a problem w/ - is there sound?

The audio there after DVD Fab is 5.1, but not the regular audio which I have to have.

Okay I just looked at the audios in Shrink for the special features on Firewall and AC3-2ch is listed. (I don't have the incredible Mr. Limpett).
Usually if just 5.1 audio is on the dvd - the player will 'downgrade' and it should still have sound. Doesn't sound like the case for you.

Make sure you have the latest version of DVD Fab. You can also use just Shrink and ImgBurn on Firewall - nothing special on this one.
For ones that Shrink can't handle you may want to check out AnyDVD to run in the background. Free 21 day trial.

Well, I finally got most of the audio. I leave out the 5.1 sound and 90 percent works now. I've updated dvd fab today and will se what that does.
