i have been using dvd shrink for a while with no problems but today i tried to back up madagascar and it said (failed to read file D:\
the request could not be performed because of an I/O error

Hi lapv
Welcome to aD
Shrink can't handle the copy protection on this. Has Macrovision's Ripguard on it.
So have AnyDVD running in the background with Shrink (free 21 ay trial period - http://slysoft.com.
Or rip with DVDFab Decrypter than open those files in Shrink and process as usual.

That's a simple fix--it usually is for Shrink ;)

i think i used fab dvd decrpter wrong i dont know but it also said I/O error now what??? im an old man trying to do what 6 year old kids take for granted im learning to use my computer.
