PS2 saves backup- DESPERATE HELP NEEDED!!!

a while ago, i got really far in Manhunt for my PS2 and i decided i should backup this progress for if my brother wanted to play ping-pong with my memory card again, i would have 1 less gamesave to worry about. I went about backing it up by transferring that Manhunt save to my PSP and then onto my PC and then onto a CD and then placed it into the confines of my closet for safekeeping. i took the gamesave off of my ps2 memory card so i could clear up some room on it. btw, all the gamesaves i backed up onto the disc are .max files. when i wanted the gamesave off that disc that lies in my closet, i popped it into my PC, onto my PSP, and back onto my PS2 mem. card. the problem is that my ps2 doesnt recognize these gamesaves anymore and shows me that i dont have any gamesaves at all of manhunt when i put manhunt in and have to choose which save to load. so to sum it all up: wtf?

if its in .max format then it needs to be uncrushed by ARMAX before it will be detectable by anything.

ok so i would take that Manhunt save off of that disc, put it onto my PC, then onto my PSP, and when i hook up my PSP to my PS2, i would uncrush the .max save file from my PSP onto the PS2 memory card? is that all?

what would i do if the image i want displayed is no longer held on that site but i have that very same image on my desktop?

yea all you need to do is use ARMAX to uncrush the file from your psp to your ps2.

upload the image to somewhere like imageshack.us they will ive you a link to your image then add the img tags to it.

hehe my cats are smart enough to stay away from me when im high.

whoa thx. i cant believe the answer was right in front of my eyes this whole time. i didnt play the game to see if the save works with it yet but im sure it will because it got its normal icon back and it went back to it's normal file size. thanks again!
