i'm currently trying to back up underworld evo.i ripped with dvdfab and tried to use shrink, but got the error pop up. so now i'm trying to use vobblanker to remove the bad files.i tried to use the thread left by ALKOHOL but i keep ending up with the same result, an error pop up when i try to use shrink after vobblanker. can anyone give me some advice as what i might be doing wrong?thanx to anyone who replies.-blaise26

You should use PgcEdit. Then click on DVD and chose Delete Last VTS in DVD. Then save.

What's the error pop up say?
DVDFab Decrypter will handle this one w/ Shrink esp. running thru vobblanker.
Are you using the latest DVDFab Decrypter - 2.9.7.9?

the error says is hAS a problem with one of the VOB files(vob_5).so i have skipped that file and still it doesn't work.this last time it went through to shrink but it was going to take 35 hours to encode.i think i'm using this damn vobblank wrong but i'm not sure.once i open the ts_video sub file of the dvdfab created file what do i do from there?also i noticed on the ALKOHOL thread vobblank recognizes the bad file(s).when i open the the file to edit on vobblank it doesn't give me a pop-up of what the bad file is.i'm about to give up on this because it is just too f**kin aggrevating.

Don't give up yet - this movie can be backed up.
You need to process all files in vobblanker - don't skip any.
Follow alkohol's step by step guide.

In Shrink make sure you're picking the video_ts from vobblanker not the one from dvdfab decrypter.

I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD to do this movie - one the best and easiest combos out there. Not free but has a 21 day free trial.

i actually backed this up two ways first was AnyDVD and clonedvd2 wow go figure nothing stops these two! anyways the second way was i ripped to hdd with dvdfab 2979 and then sent all files to vobblanker 2110 and processed all files all files, then i ran it through DVD Shrink and then used imgburn both movies came out perfect!
