Well I tried to post this at www.codebreaker.com, but no one goes on their forums. I'm trying to copy a San Andreas game save into my memory card from a USB pen drive. I'm not sure by what brand, my dad had given it to me. It has worked in the past, but whenever I try it now I get this error - Error Writing File (1). There's 3,000+KB free on my memory card so I don't think it's memory issues... anyone know how to fix this?

I put the gamesave on my USB stick and then the stick into my playstation, and then use CodeBreaker to transfer it. I also tried it this way: http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/cd2mem But when I tried it that way, it said it extracted to memory card successful, but when I loaded San Andreas, it said the game was corrupted.

If I remember correctly I had problem transferring the save for that game using action replay (which is similar to how you do it with codebreaker). I had to use uLaucnELF because there was some time stamp issue or something or rather, and uLaunchELF was one of the few programs that works with this. Give that a try and see if it works.

Yeah if you have a modchip/swap magic uLaunchELF is the best way to load game saves. I have uLaunchELF stored in my memory card, so I can boot it directly from there (using my Matrix Infinity chip), otherwise you should be able to burn it to a CD and load it from there. That site has some great stuff in there, have a look around and you'll learn quite a few things from it :)

Alright, I'm burning the CD now, I'll post the results when I'm finished. Once again, thanks man. =D

EDIT: Well, I didn't use that way, but I got it working. I converted an ARMAX save into .cbs format using PS2SaveBuilder. Thanks for the help, though.
