Hi, Im thinking of ordering a pre modded ps2 from www.ghost2fitter.co.uk
After reading a lot of threads on this forum, decided to order it with the DMS4 Pro SE. Is this a good choice? and how reliable is Ghost2fitter? Also, some sites refer to the DMS series chips as DMS Lite and DMS Pro. there is no mention of DMS Pro SE. Which is superior, the DMS4 Pro or DMS4 Pro SE? Ghost2fitter only supplies DMS4 Lite and DMS4 Pro SE.

Also, one little confusion, if i have a DMS4 chip, can i play ps2 backups online? i read somewhere that the game image has to be patched with some ID, then burnt. How do i go about doing this? and will all games work online then?

not only is it a good choice, it's a great choice.
I am glad to see SOMEONE did some research before they just went out and bout one with one of those cheap $20 junk chips just to save a few bucks.
DMS4 Lite is not what you want, it is a stripped down version of the DMS4 Pro
The DMS4 Pro SE is just the latest model, Since that and the DMS4 Pro run on the same firmware, ToxicOS V0.41 they will do exactly the same thing.
and this is where to get your firmware upgrades when they are released http://www.teamtoxic.com.cn/
you can also read the document at the bottom on that firmware to get a better overveiw of what you chip can do.

I have heard good things about that site so i would hope that they are good.
Yes, you have to patch the games before you burn it to play online, and here is how to do that.

thx a lot! just one thing though, the list of DNAS codes u gave me, they are for US versions of games. Where do i get the UK PAL ID's?
