can anyone tell me if this version of ACTION REPLAY will allow me to use my psx backups on my slimline ps2..alot of my original copies were damaged...

Just buy a Swap Magic set, 3.8 coder allow you to input codes like AR. Heres a link if u want to cehck it out:)

wicked man!!! this is great news!! I was still using swap magic 3.6 which only could boot my ps2 cd-roms and dvd-roms but not my psx games haha!! thanx gonna order this asap!!

Ouch, hold on a minute, didnt anwer that correctly. I thought you were refering 2 ps2 backups. If you want to play ps1 backups, u need breaker pro, its very cheap also. Sorry for the incorrect info :(

no biggie I actually ordered swap magic 3.8 which is nice especially for codes feature .. this breaker pro does it operate the same with my slim ps2 just pop in disc then when it stops spinnign just pop in cd-r backup and voila you hit x and it loads it??

where can I find it??

Yea, its pretty much the same as SM. If you have Gameshark cdx from the ps1 era that will work to boot ps1 games also. Here is a link for Breaker Pro

Yeah im still using 3.6 myself. Im not big into codes and such, and am going to upgrade to a DMS S.E. Pro chips in a few weeeks. Glad you like your SM set:D

You'll never go back again and you will sing the praises
of the DMS4 Pro from that point forward.
Also you will love it more if you add in an HDD later.

that is a much needed tutorial, as it will not only help those with Swap Magic Coder
but also people with DMS4 Pro chips as it has the built in cheat device and codes (any codes for any system) need to be converted to raw format to be entered into the ToxicOS cheat system for use.
