I have uploaded my newest save file to help someone out and I thought I might as well give the rest of you the link. I'm throwing it to the dogs! Free for the taking if you're interested. I know a lot of you are having troubles w/ this game, so this save file will get you past all of the areas that have been known to be freezing points in the game. TIP: Don't watch any of the movies. Some versions have reports of the movies going too fast so you can't see what's going on, and other versions of the game freeze. Again, this is like 3 levels deep in the game, but it's still near the beginning if you're having trouble and don't wanna deal w/ anymore freezes.

Btw, I don't know how this savefile will fare w/ the (EUR) version of teh game, as this is the (US) version.

Does anyone else have the issue where there's no sound in this game?

Turns out it waan't a German ISO, I was using a German Devhook so by default everything went to German.

I have sound, but the thing I don't like is how when an enemy detects me, there is this hideous "daddaddadadddadadad" sound that is overpowering vs. the rest of the noises in teh game. It goes away after you kill them or strangle them, but I still don't like it. Other that that, no probs except the movies still.

Don't forget to ROTATE your saves, b/c DevHook decides to make Splinter Cell freeze every once in a while always during a save and it corrupts your data. You need to have back up on this game.

Yea, Im gonna hold up playing this til it actually starts working. I cant stand constant glitches, freezes, skipping, and all the other randomness.

This is a pic of the actor who plays Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell if any of you are interested. I was like, "NO WAY!!" When I saw who it was and recognised him from movies I'd seen.
