Main iso 932MB
Patch the iso with the PPF file useing PPF-O-Matic (NOT UMDgen)

Here is the link to the PPF file

Now open the patched iso in UMDgen and delete the UPDATE folder
and save Iso to Desktop.

Iso should now be about 892MB
Now it will fit on a 1GB memory stick but if you want it around 601MB
you have to shrink it with CISO converter.

Leave Ciso converter settings where they are when done
Stick your CSO file in your Iso folder and run with Dev Hook

Game Works fine but its not really a game.

Thanks, and what options/settings on devhook? Am I correct that it boots me to emulated 2.50 firmware first?

I got as far as when after the game was patched and removed the UPDATE
folder.It then became 892mb

Anyway i put in the PSP iso but i don't know how to use devhook 41d
it came with MS_ROOT, src, tool folders.

Can someone tell where to put the things inside the folders.

Assuming you fixed the ISO correctly;

Start up devhook and use the following settings

UMD Select: <youriso>.iso
UMD Mount: ISO Anyumd
UMD ver: 2.xx -> 2.00
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
CPU clock: 222mhz or 333mhz
Boot select: reboot XML

and then Start, the PSP should restart and enter into emulated 2.50 firmware. Make sure a UMD is inserted and then the game will automaticly start. This is how it worked for me.

It aint really my type of game but its metal gear so I will check it out. A lot of big fans dont like it at all.

I wish they would come out just with a regular one
