Iv been using mp4 forever but i guess theres an even better format ppl use now to watch video files on the PSP? Also i saw that instead of the usual mnov.... files for video theres a few new files now that i updated. So would help me alot if some one would tell me what is the best format to use and what programs i need. Gracias very mucho.

I don't think so............mp4 is the only video format for the PSP.

well avc is a different codec but is still in mp4 format. i think people are converting their vids to pmf (i think thats what its called, the video format used in a lot of games) and using a homebrew app to watch them

how small compared to the original? Iv been using the psp movie creator and it doesnt have the option to choose avc. Any suggestions of a program out there? I would search but im lazy as hell.

i like datels action replay program for vids. it can easily transfer and it is 6 simple quality options to choos from and which codec. also lets u choose widescreen or 4:3

AVC is the most superior codec, there is apps that can play the likes of AVI, XviD, DivX but AVC is the better of them all.
1.50 users now have the chance of playing full res 480x272 AVC thanks to jonny, a local on DOOM9.
And with the release of the mod chip, all firmwares can display full res 480x272 videos on there PSP.
