HAHA, ya you are not alone. Ive said it before, but ill say it again. Unless you are a lazy slob that cant deal with using a loader, there is absolutely no point to buy the chip if you have a 1.5. Everyday there are advancements in the hacking world. Look at devhook, now all 2.5/2.6 games are playable(for the most part), and this is going to continue untill the next iteration of the psp is released.

Actually the chip takes out the fun in tryn to figure out how to make homebrew run with loaders/games etc.. theres no point if it were simply as pie IMHO

I agree with you 100%. Thats how i learned, through lots of tuts and just playin around with iso's and loaders. I respect others that try to learn, and this chip is just going to do the reverse.

Exactly, that's kind of why I love these programs and apps that are bitches to install. You get some much more info and learn more from having to work it out on your own rather than installing a prepackaged app. You get some much more out of it after you've actually installed it and done it for yourself.

BTW, you want a bitch to install, try out the wireless streaming apps and what not. They aint exactly easy.

Great point Dusk and Thirst. Thats the problem with a lot of people (Thirst, you know exactly what I am talking about), they want to be spoonfed. I have no problem answering these type of people most of the time, but at the same time, I know they are not learning anything and that I can expect another thread asking the same type of question by that person in a few days.

Exactly, I love figuring out how to screw around with this stuff and find out how to make it work and what not.

Too bad A LOT of people dont feel the same way. People in general are lazy, dont want to learn, and want the easy way out. Thank the lord that people like the Epsilon team are intelligent to make a chip for everybody, put at the same time, they are creating a new group of people that dont give a sh!t about learning.

Exactly. I think the chip might be good though for people who want to learn or try to make custom firmwares without bricking their PSPs. Granted you can probably do this on Devhook, but I'm not sure.

The mod chip isnt going to help ppl make custom firmware! Nobody ever tries that kind of stuff except for the savants, like the Epsilon team, everybody else just follws simple directions. Its going to allow them to be morons and copy an iso onto their mem stick and play it. Thats all. BTW, devhook doesnt require much thought either, and doesnt make people do anything beyond putting folders in a certain place.

Waiting for the question "I DONWLAODED A GAME OFFA BITTORRENT AN PUT IT IN DA ISOS FOLDER BUT THE RAR FILE NO WORK!!!!11!"

I have always done a pretty good job figuring stuff out for myself. But I do get lazy and instead of researching, just ask a question sometimes.

If you send anything to Mexico, you deserve to be ripped off. Put it this way, Mexico has a tendency to make you send your stuff to them and "accidentally" not ever return it. Go figure......
