Hi i have a psp version 1.50 and was wondering should i upgrade my psp to 2.50 and use devhook v.0.41 to play my homebrew games? will all my games work and will i be able to use the internet? Thanks!!
You don't upgrade to use devhook, it emulates the 2.50 firmware on your v1.50 so you can play the newer games and have the functionality of v2.50, whatever you do, do NOT upgrade your firmware!!!!
Thank you for clearing that up! So is there a guide or something that shows me how to install devhook v0.41 and use it? I realy want to play GTA on version 1.50. Will devhook v0.41 allow me to play any game upto version 2.5?

i upgraded my 1.5 to play gta lcs but that was when it first came out and you couldn't play them on 1.5's back then, guess i made a mistake cos you couldnt have homebrew on higher FWs then and i upgraded again to 2.6 cos i thought no point in staying on a lower one cos it didnt have homebrew and then the eboot loader came out and 2.0 was cracked, but i stayed at 2.6 and luckily the eloader came and we have homebrew now but still nto as good as 2.0 and lower
Hey thanks, understand it all and will try this in a few days time when i get my 2gb memory stick! one thing it says on the tutorial "For 0.41b and 0.41c just extract the files to the correct place on your memory stick and your done. Simple". well there isnt a Devhook 0.41b download or a Devhook 0.41c download as there is only Devhook 0.40, Devhook 0.41 and Devhook 0.41a. Wot does that quote mean? thanks
But there isnt a Devhook 0.41d download on that tutrial page. Theres only Devhook 0.40, Devhook 0.41 and Devhook 0.41a download and its asking for b and c. Confusing
argghh my wifi wireless function on the psp doesnt work at all, i tried playing two player with a friend with loads of different games and it wouldnt work. how can i fix this? is this because i installed that devhook 0.41d thing?
