ok so one of the major selling points of the modchip is custome firmware. this custome firmware will be able to use any iso with ease? i dont know how that works exactly but iv been told it will make iso loading easy. so wont any of this custom firmware be bootable on devhook so we can have all the advantages of the custom firmware. inlucding perhaps some of the new official firmware goodies, including flash. feel free 2 laugh at me if this is stupid...

It'll be interesing to see if/how the custom firmware loads an ISO without any kind of loader app like dax or devhook. Not really bothered about playing untouched ISOs as I only have a 1GB stick so ripkits are kind of a necessity for me in order to have more than 1 or 2 games on my stick.

Did you see that the fimrware flashing app for the modchip is up on http://www.ps2nfo.com ? I saw it there but haven't checked it out yet.

iv just seen images seems kinda pointless till i get a chip. but how could emulating flash from the memory stick brick ur psp? if that ws the case woudnt it be a high bricking risk just as much so with 2.5 emulation?

Emulating flash wont brick your psp, if it did, everybody using devhook would be extremely pissed right now.
