INTERNET SHARING GUIDE AND TROUBLESHOOT
sorry i cant cuz my router is down stairs and ma PS2 is upstairs!
But problem resloved if you hav the same problem happening i hav a step by step guide to resolve the problem as after hours of togling about with the controls i hav found a solotion that only takes about 5mins.(Need network adaptor if you hav a bulky console)
1. Grab the ethernet cable and slot it into the port at the back of you PS2 or into you network adaptor presuming you have the adaptor setup
2. Next plug your ethernet cable into you computer then follow the steps on the network access disc and turn on computer as normal then attempt to connect your PS2 if you cannot connect then look at the botton of this for the solotion how ever if you can connect you hav established a connection through your.
Trouble shoot Guide (Limited or no connectivity)
If you recive your broadband via a local area connection read this.
(you need 2 ethernet ports)
Presuming you hav the network setup via the steps above but hav your ps2 connected to the other network port and you broadband is connected to the other.
1.Go to network connections and verify what connection is what you PS2 should be the Low connectivity one but best to rename the connections (EG.PS2 Connection, Broadband Connection)
2.Right click the Broadband connection and click Propities and hit the advanced tab you should find a bit about internet sharing clik allow other network users to connect directly to this computers internet connection. Abra Kadabra Now try to connect through your ps2
Wireless internet users.
1.Follow the setup instructions and right click on the wireless network in network connections and hit Propities and follow the italic instructions above.
NOTE: This was a guide for a Internet Sharing to a PS2 and the trouble shoot guide not a Direct Conmection or anything else
