In the words of that famous country song " Heartaches by the Numbers , troubles By the score" If you wanna spend $6.00-$8.00 dollars on media this week try Officedepot They have 25 paks of Maxell +R & -R for like $6.99 ea. And Hopefully they'll be either MIj Maxell or Ritek Mid coded ! If they are are altough you're getting less disc per pack your getting better quality disc !Hope that helps !

A friend gave me a couple of burned NexxTech DVD's and they would not play, got skips/freezes and plenty of CRC errors. This is really landfill media.

Yeah, I still have a spindle myself. They are so bad that they will skip in all the dvd players I own (8) and they have in the past played many crap disks before I got enlightened about TYs and Verbs by the great people here at afterdawn. Also, these disks wont even let me copy back the data or movies I burned to them (I only had those disks and figured I could burn it and copy it to better stuff later, as these are the reason I found this place looking for better disks). For the record my nexxtech +r pack codes out to be cmc mag. e01 Horrible landfill media.

I suggest that Brand name be shortend to NEXT instead of Nexxtech! That way when you come across them at CircuitCity you Go next and keep on walking !
