What is the ROOT of my memory stick? The directions tell me to put the folder there. Which folder should I add my games?

The root is the first screen you see after connecting your psp to your comp. You put all your iso's in the ISO folder. If you dont have the ISO folder, make it.

What emulator? Is it really an emulator or is it a iso loader?

The X folder goes into the root and all the other go into the GAME foldr. To get to the GAME foldr, double click the PSP folder. Just drag and drop those folders into it.

Its hard to help if you dont take the time to read. Make a folder named ISO in the root, and put all your iso's in that folder.

Read that thread I posted again. You have to start Dax or UMD Emulator to play the iso's, they are iso loaders. Open one of those apps, and you will have a list of iso's that are on your mem stick. Select one of the iso's and push start/load.

What game are you trying to play. You cant just to start a loader and get the game to work. There are particular settings for each game, some require patching, some require fidfferent loaders....

I want to play death jr., kao challange, and Breath of fire3. Death jr and kar challange are only one file big but breath of fire3 has like 12 files.

The 1st 2 are iso's, and are put in the ISO folder. BoF is one of the few gams patched to run with UMD EMU Run UMD edition, and it not worth the time, you cant even save your game. For the 1st 2, you can use dax or UMD emu to play. At this pont, your version of BoF3 is obsolete, i would find a new untouched iso, and then play it on devhook.
