Does anyone know if I can somehow hook my PS2 mic into my computer then run a cord from the comp to PS2 and set it up so the PS2 reads it as a mic? and does anyone know of any good real time voice editing software? I want to play a trick on my friend:)

Lol about playing joke on your friend...

Erm...well i think the PS2 headset is USB right? if you have a USB headset or a USB like converter thing to plug in then plug your normal mic wires in i guess that might work? but it wouldnt be connected to your computer

as for real time voice editing software...i'm not familiar with them...you what to make your voice sqeaky or something lol?

hmm, u could use a sock over the mic piece, or try findin those little megaphones they make for kids that have 4 settings on it, but as for a 'real time' voice changer on the PC i think ur not going to find one, but perhaps asking in a different forum could help.

Y dont u just record it on your PC and have a fast cnverting program and then play it with the PS2 mic close to the speaker...

ok, i dont want to sound like a buthead but can someone just give me a direct answer? i want to have it through my computer because anything played back from a speaker sounds like crap. i need it to go through my computer so i get clear sound.
