i wanted to uninstall the softmod from my xbox which i installed using splintercell "unleashX" but when i selected the remove softmod option i got an "invalid command" "unable to execute command item: action: delete" "failure" "batch process failed. the last item was action: delete" message. now here comes the problem when i turn on my xbox W/out a disc in the drive the ring of light flashes red and green and i get a message saying that "your xbox requires service" if theres a disc then it plays it just fine but its as if uninstalling the softmod deleted my MSdash. Neither dashboard loads up not the UnleashX nor the MS one but im still able to FTP into it if that helps and i have another xbox close by. if any one know of a way to fix this i would appreciate any help you can give.

what you need to do is download a ms dash from somewhere and FTP it to your C drive..then delete everything from your E drive only leave the TDATA and UDATA folders but delete everything in them as well then reboot and you will be good to go...

The M$ dash is in the C drive, you may find you have a few differnet files on there but the ones you are looking for will be

Audio (folder)
Fonts (folder)
xboxdashdata.(number here) (folder)
xodash (folder)
xbox book.xtf
xbox.xtf
xboxdash.xbe

If you only have them files left on your C drive and as theridges said get rid of everyting in your E drive (except the udata & tdata folders) then your box should be back to original settings.

You will need a chip and another working modded xbox to fix this (supposedly)
I have never done this but if you read through this it will explain what you have to do.

(Just look for your error code)
