I have read something online that sometimes people's psp can become "bricked". How can someone brick their psp?

By using a overflow.tif from an unreliable source when downgrading you psp, that will do it. Some1 started a thread a while back asking the same thing, do a search im sure it will pop up

Are there any other way to brick a psp besides downgrading?

I wouldnt really worry about it. Loading games wrong and stuff like that will never do that, and thats what a lot of people worry about.

BTW - I heard PSPpersonalize can brick your psp if you screw around with it.

Yea, if you flash a picture that's the wrong size, you could more or less likely have a bricked PSP.

You only live once and I'm gonna drink and smoke it away.

Quality is pretty poor but you can see what's going on and it's even been confirmed via the log the downdater creates, it is indeed real

edit: this isn't my video i just happened to be in IRC when the latest version of the downdater was getting tested and jumped on the video :)

Either way, good find:D Kinda sucks that the pic quality was so poor, otherwise than would have been a classic.
