Holy crap!, whats the point of this when the biggest stick u can get is only 2Gb, i think u better off getting a proper USB hard drive m8. A stick is big enuff for about two 1gb dvd games max!, even then not many games are always that small.

V9 PS2 scph-50002, SM 3.6
Exploit: PS2Menu
50+ PS2 games
HDL 0.8b, and a dying 40gb hd.
Media: Verb DVD-R 8x, Ritek G05

i agree, go with a hard drive, 80GB is ok i guess. You can get at least 20 games on it even if they were all 4GB each. And unless you have a slimline then get an internal one as the USB will be slower and will not give you faster load times like an internal one will.

You can get a media player for your PS2 and then it will be sort of like Xbox
You can also learn to FTP between the PC and PS2 and transfer files to the hard drive from the PC just like Xbox.

Mine is very much like my Xbox, It has a 250GB hard drive, a DMS4 Pro chip, a twin fan HD Combo case. So with that chip i just turn it on, go to the games list and play. Plus like DVD2Xbox for the Xbox that chip has firmware that you use and can copy the game strait from the disc to the hard drive.

I found that Capcom vs SNK 2 works better on USB Advance than on HDLoader so I invested in this little gem:

I love it, just wish it didn't cost so much. It's a 120gb. They sell some nice kits out there on ebay where all you need to get is just the notebook hdd and install it in the housing. I love the fact that it's all run off USB

Quick question... Has anyone ever tried using a pen drive to run usb advance games? I did sometime back on my sandisk pen drive and it never picked up.

I have no problem reading files off it from my PS2 either. Infact, I pretty much use it to transfer files back and forth from my pc to my PS2.
