DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink,IMGBURN,Nero,ANY DVD,
lets see:

nero
imgburn
dvd decrypter

are all pretty good to burn with

dvd shrink is not a burning program, but a reauthor program

Anydvd is a program which allows you to bypass the encryptions on most commercially made dvds anbd affect the region codes so that you may replicate your discs.

As to finding out , try reading the guides sections or click the link below for simple but effective hints for burning dvds

It all depends (i.e. your preference only). For VIDEO_TS, I prefer Nero Burning Rom and for ISO, I prefer DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn. However, I prefer VIDEO_TS more than ISO, but then again, that's just me.

As for ripping tools, I used nothing but DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker (both FREE) and I've never encountered any movies/dvds that I "can not" rip whatsoever.

My primary "encoding" engine is DVD-RB Pro + CCE SP 2.7 and my second "transcoding" engine is Nero Recode 2 (with Advanced Analysis + HQSR + Assign Best Quality to the Main Movie).

The choice is yours.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

I prefer Shrink set with auto burn with Decrypter. The only other software I use on some of the newer movies is DVDFab Decrypter first. Then use Shrink as usual. Works great always.

Let's turn off the caps lock key next time - it's considered shouting and very hard on the eyes ;)
