Syphon Filter freezing after first boss

I was playing Sypon Filter and it keeps freezing after the first boss. Are there still some problems with this game working with devhook 0.41d

What size is your guys syphon filter? I have one thats 900mb too big, then one that was 300mb and that one gets the disc cannot be read. Im thinking the 900mb will work but how do i get it smaller. Cso only brings it down a little, and the ripkit doesnt do much either.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

those are the ones i used. it freezes every time when it loads the next level. my file is over a gig i think, ill have to look.

yup, same thing happened to my syphon filter when i was playing it. i beaten the first boss and when it loads to the next level, the game got frozen.

So if I have mine that when booted and says the disc cannot be read. I fi switch the prx's it will work?
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

@Sniper, look at KaosX's tut, it works very well. Tell me what version you have (euro or us) and ill post the prx's you need.

Im very familular with prx switching I have US syphon filter. I have street rider prx's, and stwb2 prx's. Which ones work?
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

You have to use VcdromX or whatever the "other" iso rebuiling utility is. Like I sadi, do a forum search. KaosX made a tut, it has your answers.

i dl'd the .cso of the game and i'm having this same issue, how do i switch the prx file if its a .cso? do i need to decompress it back to an iso and then change the file? if so, can i recompress it after switching the prx so its a small file again? thanks!!

ermmm....
The last reply was about a year ago....things discussed then dont apply at all anymore!! If you are using 1.5 still then you need to upgrade to OE...then play the game without any modifications.

i didnt realize the last post was so long ago! lol. i have 3.03OE i believe, but it still freezes after the first boss. is there any possibility that you could upload your cso (if you have one?) it'd be greatly appreciated!! thanks for your help mate!
