basically, i have a video that i want to burn to a DVD-R, it is a windows file......why's it that i can burn a video cd to view on a dvd player but Nero can't make me a dvd? do i need to convert this file? please help. and thank u.

If it's eg a .WMV file, open Nerovision Express >MakeDVD >DVD-Video >then 'Add Video File' or drag the file to the window.Click next until you get to the option to save it to HD or burn a dvd.
