Defragment Aftermarket HDD?

Greetings!

In my modded xbox I have installed an 80 gig HDD, to which I back-up some of my games/music. I constantly find myself deleting certain games, and re-installing others. My question, is their a program I should use to defragment my hard drive to keep it running at optimum performance? Or is this not required? Thanks!
