Ripping Software: Schtrom360xtract v3.1
Burning Software: Xbox Backup Creator v2.3
Media : Bulkpaq 2.4x

The medias cheap, 25 disks for £15
The software cost nothing
(And the drives for me came with the pc without me knowing, only had to upgrade firmware! pretty lucky!)
AND IT WORKS

Just thought id tell you all, because i dont know about you but in england the cheapest verbs i can find are £45 for 25, and im not paying tht over and over!

Yeah try the bulkpaqs or mirror

I did however use some of them infinti 360 disks, but they were a big waste of money! I got 4 working games from the 25, and even when playign them 4 i sometimes get a "disk read error" message,

but im now starting to think its the software i used, CloneCD and ImgBurn couldnt seem to jump from layer 0 to layer 1 i tried using Xbox Backup Creator and it works fine!

5 working of 5 so far

How to check the size of a dual layer disk?

Well on the packet they all 8.5gb
You put the disk in your pc and open up some burning software (xbox backup creator) and it says
Bytes Available: 7.96 GB (8,547,991,552 bytes)

I know this is gonna sound silly but you sure u dont have the ps2 pro evo 6.

What are the files uve got? (.ISO, .001 etc etc)

Hello everyone.

Just borrowed a burned copy of an xbox 360 game from my friend. I do have my firmwire updated. The process is probably simple, but how do I copy his burnt game onto another DVD+R DL disc using Nero.

This is what the .nfo file says

³ This release is pre-patched with SS,
³ and stealth-patched with DMI and PFI
³ Tested on a Toshiba-Samsung TS-H943 with Xtreme firmware v4.2
³ Stealth Patch included in a seperate folder

³ 1. Unrar
³ 2. Burn with CloneCD
³ 3. Play and enjoy!

So I burnt it with Nero, Recorder > Burn image...
didnt work. Does it have to burn with CloneCD ?

Did you inject the SS.bin, PFI.bin and DMI.bin into the .iso image file using Xbox 360 SS Merger 1.7b?

@rb290

It says in the .nfo that the game is pre patched
So you do not need to inject the ss.bin into the ISO

Do you have xbox backup creator?
Nope? Download it http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=556020
just click on the download here link in the first post

Open xbox backup creator,
Click on the write tab
Selct your drive (capable of burning dual layer) from the drop down bar near the top
Under Xbox ISO Type select xbox 360
Click the Start button
(if you cant click on start button, make sure your blank disk is in)
Change the drop down menu for FILES OF TYPE to Image Files
Find the saved image file you want to burn
Click Open

Your Xbox 360 Game Will Now Be Burning Onto A Disk

I downloaded Rockstar_Games_Table_Tennis. In the nfo it reads that it was patched with all the needed items. But once unrar'd, only the .iso file show up.

My question is, how do I get the .dvd file so I can successfully burn this game onto a disc?

I'm sure I missed the information on how to get the .dvd file, but this thread is quite huge. My apologies. Thanks for the help.

Download Xbox Backup Creator (if you dont already have it)
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=556020

Open xbox backup creator,
Click on the write tab
Selct your drive (capable of burning dual layer) from the drop down bar near the top
Under Xbox ISO Type select xbox 360
Click the Start button
(if you cant click on start button, make sure your blank disk is in)
Change the drop down menu for FILES OF TYPE to Image Files
Find the saved image file you want to burn
Click Open

^^ do that and itll work fine,
i never use my .dvd file when i have it
it used mainly to tell your burner when to switch from layer 0 to layer 1 on the dual layer disk,
and because you can set the iso type to xbox 360 in Xbox Backup Creator you dont need the .dvd file.

Hello
I downloaded Fuzion_Frenzy_2_REPACK-USA-XBOX360-DAGGER
and I checked the .nfo files and it said nothing about it being patched or not so Im assuming it is and all I need to do now is burn the .iso using backup creator or clonecd?

I always find a way of checking,
Open the .001 file with ss.merger
Do the whole scan thign and see if u get all the numbers and letters in the CURRENT SS box
If you do, then it will be already patched,
If not your gonnahave to patch it
