Hey i want to ask you that i have xbox 360 iso game which has 4.68GB memory how can i burn in one DVD-R which contains only 4.5gb, it is not possible, i have to burn in two disc, can you plz tell me how can i burn one xbox 360 4.68gb game into two disc, can you please let me know what dvd burner i need, and step by step guidance if u can, it will be great help for me thankyou bye.

you have to use a dual layer disc. end of story.

i was successful in burning my first xbox 360 game...the nba 2k7...but then everytime i try to burn a game after that...anerror message pops up when imgburn is verifying the burn...like the one below...does anybody know how to fix this problem?? thanks!!!!

do the games work? if so, I wouldn't worry about. if they don't make sure dma, not pio, is enabled for the drive and it's the master, not slave, on your primary ide channel.

also, you might wanna inspect the IDE cable on your dvd writer and/or replace the cable w/ a new one.

Hello,
I seem to be having loads of problems with burning disks!
Im using a Pioneer 111D, crossflashed to 111L
Ive checked to make sure the transfer mode is in DMA
Ive tried changing IDE cable, and IDE port
When i go to burn on XBOX BACKUP CREATOR, i keep gettign this error message
Incase you cant read it, the message says
Action: Set layer 0 capacity
Sense Error: 3/73/03
POWER CALIBRATION AREA ERROR
CDB: SEND DVD STRUCTURE
0xBF 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 0C 00 00
Can i fix this at all?

hello i was wondering if someone could help me
i have a External Samsung DVD DRive SH D162C and flash it with Kreon .81
and i was wondering deos anyone know of a type/specific brand and model of DL DVD Burner i can use with my laptop and the specific type of mod it needs or what type of flash or firmwire update i must get, because i had to buy Gears or war 3 times due to scratching and wear by my 360 and backing the rest of my games up would seem more logical
I would really appreciate the help, as u probably can tell i'm a noob so if you respond please use as much plain english as possible,... THANK YOU!!!

Can someone out there please help?I have been reading all the tutorials i can find on the net about burning downloaded 360 games & also have a mate that is very clued up on this topic,not to mention that im not a dummy when it comes to these sorts of things myself,but that isnt stopping us having the problem of MY burns not working!!!His are fine???
Current Kit-
Xbox 360- Samsung MS-28 drive,Xtreme stealth firmware (getting upgraded to newer version for LIVE tomorrow!)
Media Used- RiDisc Xtreme 8.5Gb DL Discs
Burner-Pioneer 112D Firmware Ver 1.21 ( Also tried my 110D before investing in this new one!!!Still got 110D installed aswell Firmware Ver 1.41)
Here is a run down of the games that i have tried so far & their various outcomes-
Pirates Of The Carribean,At Worlds End- Burnt with all 3 programs,various speeds upto x6.ImageBurn/DVD Decrypter wont boot at all in 360( even after setting LayerBreak to 1913760),black screen,strange whirry noises,then slide saying unrecognised disc 1.Clean disc blah,blah
2.Reboot console
With Clonecd thought id cracked it,it loaded, i played 1st level,then it crashed on start of 2nd level FMV!Rebooted console,put disc back in,strange whirry noises,black screen,back to dash & it just says Play Game in the drive draw space,which i find confusing as 1st time round games title was in there,with the games stats box next to it,the way it should be.Thinking that it was just a hiccup i burnt it again,then again & then again,same results everytime!?!?!

Have you tried using Verbatim DL discs? I ask as not all media is Xbox360 compatible. My 360 was new about 6 weeks back and I bought 2 different types of discs. When I burnt them, they wouldnt play on a mates 360, but work fine in mine. I am now getting Verb's to use, as although they are more expensive, there is less likelyhood that your drive will burn out from overuse.
thats the only answer i can think of as you seem to have tried everything else, other than using Clonecd (unless i missed that bit)

Thanks for your reply,I have been told/read by various friends & forums Verbatims are the best & they ARE the only thing that i havent tried,that i keep hearing about!I am a bit dubious tho as i cant see how after trying 2 different types of disc already & being told that the RiDisc Xtreme will work with 360,could a simple change of disc be the answer to all my woes???I will try this,but am struggling to find someone that sells Verbs singular & dont really wanna pay the ridiculous price they charge for 10,if this turns out not to be the problem!Another reason for this hestitancy,is that the friend that i mentioned in my post,has never used Verbs & he flashed my console for me telling me that i had the same Samsung MS-28 as himself & the baffling thing is that he currently does my games for me & they all work which again makes me think that its something that im overlooking in the overall burn process!!!Thanks again,will try the Verbs & update this message on my progress

definetly use verbs! also:
1) make sure you're laser isn't malfunctioning and try to clean it
2) if you're using ixtreme firmware (was just released 3 days ago) games won't boot unless they're properly stealthed and have video partition.

verbatims mate are a con, yes they are the best but ridisc xtreme use the exact same dye and upon rigorous testing they actually perform better than verbatims, but most people are nieve and just think verb verb verb!! thats why the prices have doubled for them.
thats in my eyes never had any probs with and media at all but each to there own

well, verbs never do me wrong...on the other hand, I've had plenty of manufactures/dyes not read in my shitaci.....word to the wise, anyone that has a shitachi shoudn't use anything other than verbs...I'm on my 3rd laser already, because of shitty media...non pressed discs are hard on any laser, but in my experience, especially the 360's lasers..

HI all here's a tough one for you.
I'm having trouble burning downloaded images. So far i've tried
Command.and.Conquer.3.Tiberium.Wars.PAL.XBOX360-RANT AND
Ghost.Recon.Advanced.Warfighter.2.PAL.MULTI.XBOX360-Allstars.[GamesFive.NeT]
And before u say it , yes i have a PAL system.
Anyway , I get the 'place your dvd in xbox 360 error' . I've got NME 1.2 modchip and burning using imgburn with my Pioneer 112D (1.15) at 2.4x straight from the .DVD file included in the extracted files . Layerbreak is set at 1913760 and booktype is dvd-rom. DMA setting is on and i'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL media. Burner is Master on Secondary IDE Channel. Primary Master is HDD.
I have no idea what is wrong, any suggestions ? From other forums and things it seems so easy , yet i'm not finding it easy at all?

Hi, I got my 360 flashed by someone, but I'm not sure of the firmware they used to flash it, I got two games from them that work fine and I'm trying to burn my own.
I downloaded a game and I extracted it just fine, I got the iso file. Was I supposed to keep the .dvd file? I've tried verbatim DL discs several times burning JUST the .iso file, do I need the .dvd file too?
Each time the 360 says to clean my disc.
I haven't tried the merger thing because when I read the readme.txt in the .rar file it said it was already patched and was just a simple burn and run.
edit...after more reading, it seems like I'm supposed to keep the .iso and .dvd file in the same folder, but just burn the .dvd file?
crap yeah i think i answered my own question, too bad i already deleted all the files, time to re-download :(

You dont need to burn using the .dvd file
you can use the iso, 000, whatever, just make sure you have the layerbreak set to the right number cant remeber what though.
what drive are you using?
samsung, hitachi?
the only reason i can think of is that your either not setting a layerbreak,
or, you have a samsung drive with the new ixtreme fw, and the games have not passed the stealth checks, so the fw wont play them

crap i didnt do anything about a layerbreak, i thought that was for using with DVD Decrypter, im using cd clone.
i'll try burning with the DVD Decrypter edu, since this one doesnt have it

open the .dvd file w/ clonecd or imgburn and burn. as long as the image has the security sector you should be good. also like Josh says, if you're running ixtreme firmware on your samsung the image needs to have the proper stealth files applied or it won't boot. use xdvdmulleter to find out if the image has everything applied properly, you can find it on xbins.

yes, you still need to open the .dvd file w/ clonecd. be sure to set the booktype to dvd-rom.

Because you like to delte your .dvd files :-)
Try using Xbox Backup Creator,
If you want to burn the ISO, 000 file instead of .dvd file, all you have to do is click the Xbox 360 little checkbox, and thats it done,
It also will tell you about power calibration errors before burning if you get them so you dont have to waste a disk if it f*cks up, like i did with a whole 50 pack when using clonecd
Seriously id check it out, but its up to you really isnt it.
