hi guys
Again,still pretty new to all this...
Just wanted to check something with you guys,before i burn an image,
and this information may be of use to those who come across this problem also
if a downloaded image comes extracted as
IMAGE.000 and IMAGE.dvd,and when loaded into cloneCD you get the error message....
Quote: error opening file IMAGE.iso...
The system cannot find the file specified
I know the reason why it says this...its because the IMAGE.dvd file has the wrong information stored inside it
I.E,if you open it with notepad,i see
LayerBreak=1913760
IMAGE.iso
So the extension is different,where the .iso should be .dvd
If you change it back to what it should read,
i.e
LayerBreak=1913760
IMAGE.dvd
Will this make any difference?
It is now accepted with cloneCD,just dont want to waste another verb
BTW,i intially burned this image by just changing the IMAGE.000 extension yo IMAGE.iso,although its not been tested yet,as i still await my abox
AND why isnt this stickied???

LayerBreak=1913760
IMAGE.000
and if the image file name is image.iso, the correct .dvd file would contain:
LayerBreak=1913760
IMAGE.iso
make sure you're using the latest version of clonecd or imgburn, also be sure the .dvd file and image reside in the same dir.
I don't Usenet, it uses me.

I have read for about 4 hours now between here and xbox-scene but still can't find an answer to my problem. I keep getting this error in Xbox Creator 2.3:
Sense Error: 5 / 20 / 00
INVALID COMMAND OPERATION CODE
CDB: READ DVD STRUCTURE
0xAD 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 0C 00 00
Action: Set layer 0 capacity
Sense Error: 5 / 20 / 00
INVALID COMMAND OPERATION CODE
CDB: SEND DVD STRUCTURE
0xBF 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 0C 00 00
Getting media info [F]
Media Type: Not Present
Write failed
I am using Pioneer 111d, files were ripped from 162c with Kreon .81, and I am using Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do?

I got all of this fine,but when we select an .iso file on clone cd what do we doo with the .dvd file?
And should we (if we have an prepatched image)unrar it all into one folder and then just select the .iso?

It acts the same way as a cue file/bin and mds/mdf

Hey guys. Im new with the xbox 360, but ive learned quite a bit. I was confused when i tested DiRT on my xbx 360. It worked perfectly well. Then i tried with Guitar Hero 2 and Table Tennis. None worked. I looked it up and my conclusion is that i need to patch the games before burning.
So i followed this guide, but i get an error message in XBOX 360 SS Merger v1.7b. See here: http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/8042/...gererrordw9.jpg
This message came up after i loaded the imagefile from Table Tennis, when it asked for MD5 thingie. I pressed Yes as the guide said. It loaded for a couple of mins and then POOF this error message came up.
Why is this happening, how can i fix it? PLEASE Help!

The only reason i can think of this is that youve got the .iso file type associated with winrar.
So when you extract the .rar files, you get an iso but it has the same icon as the rar files.
I think you are proberly extracting the iso itself, not the .rar's

red ring of death :(
you might be able to fix it w/ the x-clamp fix or a heat gun....

How do u know if the file is already patched? Because i have a file that says stealth patches with my backup and i dont know what to do with it.
Thanks in advance.
And if it is is it possible to burn the backups with dvd decrypter.

fyi, dvdmulleter is much more reliable when it comes to stealth checking and patching:
http://tinyurl.com/39lh7h
it can also auto patch the iso ;)

hi .....i'm new to all this backuping games and all but if i downloaded a game and it has a image.000 and image.dvd, that means that the game is prepatched right???anyway if i put them in a folder and try to burn them with cloneCD i can load only one image.....so does the program burn both of them automatically or after i burn one select the other image and burn it as well???

you have to select the .dvd anyway,and all that file does is tell cloneCD where the image file is,and what layerbreak setting you want
it doesnt actually burn it
only the image gets burned
think of it like a cue/bin file
