when i boot up swap magic 3.8 8 i swap the disc and hit boot. when it loads the back up it goes back to the ps2 menu and shoes my memory card and says a playstation 2 disc is in the tray so i try to load it, then it says please insert a playstation 2 format disc.

DO you have a Flip-Top or Slide Card? Because you need either one of them to play an import/ back up.

Are u sure u are using it correctly. Maybe your burn/bad media. Or maybe your PS2 laser is a bit worn out

I'm probably wrong, but did you burn using the corrent media, like some original games are cd format so you burn with cd-r and some original games are dvd so you burn with DVD-R. I dunno. :)

yeah its kingdom hearts 2 i burned on a tdk DVD-R with dvd decryptor at 1x

after i get it working im gonna try dog the xplo but dos ayoow if you could gt the explot to work with v3.8 and a flash drive since swap magic 3.8 can run programs from a flash drive??

after that im gonna try doing the exploit but does anyone know if theres a way to do it with a usb flash drive and swap magic since swap magic v3.8 can run programs so would expinst.elf work?
