Wireless Laptop to Slim PS2 Network Adapter

I have a Wirelessly connected Laptop and I would like to connect it to my Slim PS2. The laptop's IP is 192.168.1.108 it is assigned by DHCP. I have read that the PS2 can be connected to the laptop by use of a crossover cable and ICS. I'm not sure how to set up any of this. please help. Thank you. p.s. the computer is using Window's XP Pro.

You would use the set up disc that should have come with the PS2
But if not you can set it up manually.
You would use an IP address in the same range like
192.168.1.109 for the PS2 with the same default gateway and DSN and all that.
A crossover cable or wireless gaming adapter (is you have a wireless connection or router) can also be used.
I have only set up an Xbox so i do not know where the settings are on the PS2 to enter this. I also thing any game with online play can be used to set it up.
