When changing from, say... Field commander to RaceDriver, it says must upgrade to 2.60. Of course both games load fine with Devhook 0.41d, they just won't switch in XBM. I can load Field Commander in XBM if I started it from DH. But not Race Driver. Same thing if I start out with Race Driver. Then it won't load FC from XBM.

Gotta reboot to change games.

Is this just me? Or is that just the way it is?

Redo my ISO's and get rid of update folder?

Older ISO's change no problem.

Not sure waht you mean. I have read of the possible exploit in the 2.5, but that still requires a copy of GTA to make it work. I have a 1.5, and honestly, am sick as hell of using a million loaders and swapping prx's for every other game. My bro just got the chip in the mail this morning, but I have busy as hell today and couldnt solder it in. After watching the YouTude vid, i have to say its nice to be able to boot iso's straight off he stick and not have to use a UMD, my UMD drive doesnt work properly anymore from opening the damn thing so many times lol.

I was talking about the keys to 2.60 and 2.71. 2 days later and there's all kinds of experiments out there.

Why do we want a mod chip? To play homebrew and game backups. If you can do that on the latest firmware, then why a mod chip? This is the same eureka as back in SEPT '05.

A month from now and there will be a downgrader or better yet Custom firm ware. The mod chip will allow for many experiments.

The hardware is there (PSP) I believe all you need is software to unlock it.

Like a tsop flash on xbox.
