No worries, it a valid question, but you dont have to worry about it. My psp is on the charger far more than its off, so i can personally say it wont affect your battery:D

lolz, nah it wont mess up your battery. once the psp recharge and gets to its full power, it cant accept any more power from the outlet. but one question, if anyone knows, how much is a replacement battery for the psp???

I have a Datel 2x Battery that lasts around 16 hours on a full charge. Without calculating playing music, videos, or games...

So your best bet would be to get a long lasting PSP battery rather than the Sony standard issue battery.

Anyone ever hear of the Pelican External Battery that exploded in a guys pant's pocket?! I was looking at old PSP news on Qj.net, and managed to stumble upon a news story that showed a Exploded battery inside a case!!!

Wow, no kidding? What caused the explosion, heat? I also have a Datel 2X battery, it works wonders compared to the original Sony battery.

EXACTLY, the most asked question I get with this battery would be WTF is that huge thing on it, a hard drive? lol...

Yea I think heat was the culprit since he had inside a case that was zipped up , that was only meant to fit the PSP itself...

a guy in a cell phone store told me if you keep charging it all night it wears the battery down until your eventually charging it 2-3 times a day. which would be hard if your out alot.

YOU win some, YOU lose some, either way I WIN
