Maybe this is a dumb question, but can I backup my +R disks to a -R disk and vice versa?

Of coarse. The easiest way would be DVD Decrypter ISO read mode, then ISO write mode.

Hi there,
If you have a pretty new burner, it should burn both formats
DVD-R and DVD+R
If your burner is a few years old, be carefull, it might burn just DVD-R or just DVD+R .
You can get all the info on your burner with tools like VSO Inspector, DVDInfoPro etc...

My burner will support both formats, I just wasn't sure if they could "talk" to one another, since they're opposites (you know, the 1's and 0's).

Thanks very much for your help! Have a good long weekend! (Whoops! Assuming you're in North America: USA July 4, Canada July 1) If no, well, try tipping one just because it's summer...
Thanks again.
