If you make a backup of the default backgrounds, then yes.
I think they are downloadable from psp-hacks.com

ok.....I've tried changing the background, but once I run pspersonalize.......it goes straight to "FINSIHED..."
I am pretty sure I have the right backgrounds.....size, bmp, 300x170. I downloaded them fron a background site, but still nothing.
Maybe I need a different type of pspersonalize
running 1.50

in the readme it says "To insert your own images, simply put your own 24-bit BMP file in the root directory of your second memory stick"
What second memory stick?........arent I just putting it in H:\ or whatever drive your PSP is.

Probably just means your memory stick
Actually, i have a question:
If you entered the programe at 12:59.50pm June 30th and then waited few seconds until it was, for example, 1:00.10am July 1st, then you changed the wallpaper that was set up for June, wouldnt this brick your PSP as the month would change in the PSPs memory, but not the programe?

Yeah, but it is very unlikely that someone will change their wallpaper at this set time and month, hehe

that wouldn't do a damn thing actually. because the date changes at 12:00.00am June 30th, not 1:00.00am July 1st ;) so your about an hour off, but it's possible it could screw with it.... :p i'm sure we all understood that you meant ent er it at 11:59.50pm June 30th and then waited until 12:00.05am
