I have a simple question... i hope...

I want to know what kind of format my dvd video file has. What program can tell me if it's NTSC or PAL?

open up one of your .vob files with DVD2AVI and then go to preview and it should tell you the fps, if its 25 its PAL if its 29.something, its NTSC and if its 23-24 then its film.

It should be simple, stick it n any basic/ older DVD player in the States or EU ..if it plays in US it's probably NTSC, if it plays in EU it's PAL..if that's not enough..try
GSpot..if it's framerate is 25 fps it's PAL also look for 720x576 picture size. IF it's 23.976 or 29.976 fps(720x480)it's NTSC

Of course I'm not sure if GSpot will read a VOB...you can look at the properties on the file or see the properties with ImTOO MPEG encoder.

Nothing is wrong at all, unless he doesn't have that particular program...DVD2AVI..just offering other solutions...but if GSpot won't read .vob's then it's a dead-end...Sorry!
