Big Problem with DVD Shrink!Please Help me!!!

My Problem:
I want to burn a dvd on DVD Shrink...
First i click on "open disk"
After that i click on "Backup"
And then Dvd - Shrink shut down....?!??!?!?!?!?
HELP...whats wrong?!?!
i don´t know it...and so i hope somebody can help me....

You may have a bad copy of shrink. Maybe try un-installing it and the re-installing it.

But just to be sure you are working the program correctly. After you open the DVD does it take about a minute to read it?

When you click backup do you name the folder?

It could be because the disk has copy protection that DVD Shrink cannot handle. If you want to backup a disk directly with DVD Shrink, you generally need AnyDVD or something like it working in the background to decrypt and deal with some of the copy protection.

Backups can be accomplished with totally free software as well:

DVDFab Decrypter to rip to the HDD.
FixVTS or vobblanker to clean up the ripped file.
DVD Shrink to reauthor or compress the files.
DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn to burn the processed files to a DVD.

yes, when i open the dvd it takes about 2 minute to open the dvd....
when i click backup the programm shut dowm...
i don´t can select any folder because the programm shut down after the "back up" click...

but i will try to re-installing....

now i have a new problem....;o(
I download DVDFab...
the first 5 dvd´s are getting burning...
but now i decrypt a dvd..and now the files
are 7,50 GB big...and so i can´t burn it on a dvd...
uahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...iám sooo angry.....HELP me PLEASE...

DVDShrink...don`t works.....its the same problem...
i uninstall DVD Shrink and reinstall....
but when i want to backup a dvd the programm shut down....

Are you processing the files from DVDFab Decrypter through FixVTS or Vobblanker before opening in DVD Shrink?

coldtp, see the third post above in this thread by me. It gives the order in which you use the programs and there are links to the programs in my signature. Why not download and install DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, and FixVTS and then download and use ripit4me to do the hard work for you. That's linked in the same post.
