ok heres my problem and im furious because it erased the 50 games i had on my hard drive. I use hd loader and every thing worked fine and i use win hiip and everything worked fine. hdloader .7c fully patched for reference. Then i copied gtra liberty city stories to my hard drive and got hd lloader .8a and now when i take my hard driev and put it in the usb closure like i normally do every time now it says that its a toxic os and my hard drive had errors. No problem ill format with hdl loader. Everytime i do that it says there are checksum errors, i press yes for the fix them option and it just keeps coming up. Everytime i create a hdl partition it says its corrupt and the ps2 drive needs a master boot thing. O and by the way it just keeps going back to the toxic os thing, which i dont have. Does anyone know how to fix this because it wont work. Ive tried partial erase and quick and then formatting but to no success any help would be appreciated. I just need to know how to get rid of the toxic os that is on my hdd.

if you have nothing on the HDD that you want to keep (if all the games are already erased then that's probably nothing?), you can get something like a partition program and format the whole HDD (I don't think you can see the HDD on your computer when it's formatted in the PS2 format... I can't on mine anyway) using one of the windows formats, that'll give you a clean HDD, and then you can start from scratch again
