i have a v2.00 psp and when i come to play splinter cell it says i have to update to v2.60 and i dont want to because i wont be able to play my emulators! is there any software that stops it from updating but i can still play the game? help plz

yes use psp set X and trick your PSP to 2.6
if you dont kmow how to run this read about the tiff overflow hack

WHA?? Where have you been? lol You can downgrade V2.60 now.
You can still play emulators on 2.60 with GTA.

i downloaded that pspx software and i dont understand the readme file. and it says i have a chance of bricking my psp! shall i just update my psp to v2.6 been as i can downgrade it if i really want to?

I would just downgrade your psp to 1.5 with the MPH downgrader.
