how to run 2.50 firmware on my 1.50 psp to run AVC videos and GTA?????????????

hi.
i have a 1.50 psp,
i wan tto be able to run the 2.50 firmware using mph firmware launcher.
i have the launcher but i dont know how to get the firmwareon their.
anyone help????????

The best way is to use devhook 41d load any iso or umd in it (make sure you have it set to 2.5) and it will emulate 2.5(make sure you take the UMD out so the game will not autorun and you can browse the XMB bar.

XMB stands for cross menu bar. It is the scrolling screen you get when you turn on your PSP, you know, where you select photo, music, game etc.

hi,
ims till incredibly confused, i dont know which fiels to download.
is their one SET of files i can use that include the 2.50 fimware instead of installing them and what not.
i jsut wan tto be able to play AVC videos...

I have GTA LCS UMD but can anyone give me a link for a full GTA iso working with devhook.
I've dumped my UMD but it slows down loads when driving

well put them on your memory stick somewhere. load up mph firmware launcher. go to install a firmware , then install with flash folders, then browse trough your memory stick and select the appropriate folders.

once opened you should see the below screen
select launch, then select install a firmware(ignore the other bits in the picture)
choose the manual with folders installation
then select your flash folders.
:)
