I just got me a PSP firmware 1.5. I didn't get any games yet but I noticed on torrent sites that game torrents contain 20+ files... I read some FAQS about devhook and fastloader and it says it loads ISO. My question is...if I get the torrent that contains 20+ files for a game...what do I do after that? Do I turn those files into an iso? If so how? Sorry at being a total newb at this but I wanna be careful after reading about bricking my PSP. Thanks.

Dont work about bricking your psp only EBoot files on 1.5 can do that. Sorry I cant tell you the rest becuase I would be assisting you in illegal actions. It is ILLEGAL to download PSP games you do not own.

How bout if I bought the game then the UMD got scratched and I wanted to get a backup off of it online and the game came in over 20 files? How could I make those 20 files work with devhook or fastloader?
Or...if its still against the TOS to answer the question if I ask it like that...how bout will my 20+ file question thing be answered if I read a Readme from Devhook?

Most of the time where there is 20 or more files it's because the person that packaged it wanted to compress it as much as possible. Splitting the file into say 20+ segments and compressing them yields a pretty good compression rate. You need WinRAR to unpackage those files. Right click on any of those files and hit extract here, or extract to, and it will extract the files from the 20+ segments into 1 usable file. I hope that cleared that up for you. It is very illegal to discuss ANYTHING about downloading PSP games. However, you can take a UMD you personally own and rip it to a backup. I am also not telling you how to do anything with iso's. I am merely just stating how to use WinRAR properly.
