i have a 1.5 psp with devhook and i downloaded some backup games and i need a good program recommended to convert the folders PSP_GAME and UMD DATA so whats a program to convert those folders to iso format..

Mentioning downloading games is a very very easy way to get banned permanently. There is no talk allowed about pirated games. Although did you get your devhook to work correctly.

oh sorry but yeah i got it working but it did soemthing really weird..after i installed the devhook firmware installer or whatever i booted devhook and it went to restarted and went to settings like i just got my psp and i went to system info and it said my firmware was 2.5 and i got scard and turned it off and rebooted it and checked system info again and it was 1.5 again ...

That is exactly what is supposed to happen. Devhook redirects flash access to the memory card and emulates firmware version 2.5. Do you have yahoo messenger or msn messenger and i can explain it to you in a lil more detail. :)

I am not telling you how to make an .iso of a psp game. I am telling you how to make an .iso of anything. Go to http://www.psp-hacks.com and download vcdromx 3.6. Add all the files u want and click file at the top, go to build vcdrom. After that has finished go to file again and click on convert file. Convert that file you just created to .iso.

You can play with the new options that you have with 2.5. Like browsing the net on your psp. Although you need a wireless access point to do so. You can also play UMD games which require 2.5 to run.

not talkin about a game but when i made the file in to a iso its still in those same folders psp_game etc.. do i just put hte win rar file on my mem card

you go to umd select. It will have a list of all the games you legally backed up to your mem stick. Select which .iso you want it to run. Make sure you have a UMD in too. Doesnt matter which one, anyone will do.

when im backing up games.. what is the final iso goign ot look like casue im converting them into an iso but their coming back in the same files such as PSP_GAME and UMD DATA... so what do i actually put in the mem stick..to back up some games

What do you mean what is it going to look like??? It's going to be called whatever you named it e.g. fifa 06, if you right click on the file and select properties it will show you that the file is in ISO format, so all you need to do now is copy it to the ISO folder on your ms.
