i currently have swap magic and i was wondering weather it is worth getting it chiped properly or not. how much is it these days last time i went to my local computer fair it was 40-50££ hence why i went for the swap magic as tht was only £13 but just wondering weather it is worth getting it done know as ps2 are getin alot cheaper these days since the 360 come out??

mod chip makes it easier to boot games bcuz u just put it in and play. no tricks or nothing. i guess if ur pissed about putting swap magic and slide cards in and out all the time, its worth it. but unless your going to solder like 17 wires, installation is another like 40$ so depends on what you think really

At my local computer fair (in Australia) they supply and install Matrix Infinity chips for AUD$100 (about $40 pounds). I got a chip cause i got sick of swapping!
