Fostoria, Ohio, USA. Small town of about 12,000 people, but double the police force of a town that size being due to the fact that its the main stop for many in the illegal trade industries (sex, drugs, guns) between Detroit, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio.
On a lighter note, its a haven for train and railroad enthusiasts; people line up and watch all the locomotive traffic, take pictures and video of different railcars, while the locals set, waiting for the gate to lift and trains to pass, cursing the fact there are so many trains and the idiots that have to make a hobby out of lifes annoyances.

Born in London and grew up in the small town of Wellingborough , Northants, now residing just up the road in Rushden. Which is a town who's only real claim to fame is it's the birth place H.E.Bates, he of "The Darling Buds of May " fame.

@binkie
Love DC, had a friend who lived there for 20 years, went down for the Civil Rights Movement Marches and stayed, finally moved back about 18 years ago. Used to visit, it was not bad the, but traffic can be the pits. Went down there for a concert in the summer once out at Wolf Trap, had to sit in a care with no AC in traffic for an hour in 98 degree weather, was not an experience I ever forgot, lol.

Yes the traffic here can be a bit of a drag - No. Virginia where Wolf Trap is even worse. Then no a/c, 98° & the humidity here - that ride you had would be a 'unforgetable' experience :)
