Hello i am writing from Greece....I am new to this forum and i am trying to learn some things better for DVD writing system.....
Some times most of the DVDs i would like to copy are blocked and i realy do not know what to do.....i have download Alcochol 120% i have Nero and DVD Decrypeter with DVD Shrink maby i do not know wht to do.....Dvd Decrypter can unblock some DVDS that they are looked????If yes how....i try to find a guide about it but i was not so lycky....Please forgive my not so well english and i would realy apreciate some help....

i realy need to make it work beaceuse i have a little gilr thats she loves cartoons and most of them are looked!

Don't worry about your English, it is just fine!

Decrypter is a good prog, along with DvdShrink, althought there can be difficulties with some films.

I will recommend some software for you to get, they are really good & will be able to back up any movie you wish. the progs are called AnyDVD & CloneDvd2, available here;

They are really easy to use & everyone who buys them, love them. there are guides here for the software you have, just have a look in the guides section of this forum. But if you buy SlySofts' software you will not regret it!

I am sure you will get lots of responses about this, especially about the guides, my way is probably the easiest way around the problem.

What it sounds like is you are trying to remove the copy protection from dvds. What you need is a program like "dvdfab". Very easy to use and removes the protection.You will THEN need to run the copied file through DVD Shrink.All the guides are on this site. If you need more help i'll do my best!

Can i download this programs that youve just told me or i have to buy them?
Also in this site i can not find the guide about DVD Decrypter because it is a law matter and they have taken away.. :(

Are this programs able to unlook the blocked dvds?

Yes Saffa thats it i am trying to find a way how to remove protection of some dvds.......what is dvdfab?can i downloaded from somere?how this programm works....i meen i have to work only to dvdfab or must work two programs tougether?as Nero with dvdfab.....or DVD Shrink with dvdfab?
See when i write a dvd at dvdshrink automaticly dvd decripter is opening and i puss the button and it is writing it.....but many times it is not enoufe because most of them are locked!!!
i dont know if i write it write so you may understand what i what to sya to you!!!!

You can try the Slysoft progs for 21 days without having to buy. I think that you will like them. AnyDVD sorts out the copy protection (aswell as other things), that runs in the backgound. Just install & forget. CloneDvd2 is what you compress (if needed) & burn with. download both progs & give them a try. You will not be disappointed. they are quite cheap to buy & they are well worth it.

Hi Polina,
Welcome to A.D. you can use the slysoft link pulsar gave you, excellent products.

AnyDVD will remove encryption only, it's a decrypter...

DVD Shrink will allow you to remove unwanted, extra's, menues, extra languages, etc...
It will compress video to fit on DVD5 and Burn.

If you want just a Free decrypter you can use DVDFab Decrypter.

See 2 days now i am trying to write for my daugter little Bamby from disney dvd with the programms i all ready have but i can not make it!i will download the programm and i will she!!!

Yes, download both programmes & install them

AnyDVD will "unlock" your dvd, the programme is installed onto your computer. Everytime you start the computer up, AnyDVD starts also.

When you install CloneDvd2, you will get an icon (like the icon with Dvdshrink) on the desktop on your computer. You click on the icon, that will open up the progamme. If you follow what the programme says, you will get a nicely burnt dvd for your daughter. It is really easy to do, if you can work shrink, you will be able to work CloneDvd2!

Install the software and have a try.

I am in Great Britain, we have people from America, Finland (where the forum is based), Australia. In fact all over the world!

It works like shrink, it compresses the movie, but it also burns to the blank disc. Shrink does not do that!

If you follow the guide in the link in my previous post you will be OK!

Please do not say that you will rent the movies, you must say that you are copying movies that you already have! We are not allowed to say we copy movies from the hire shop.

It will not copy games for you, just movies.

Yep, renting DVDs that you don't own is illegal. I think they should make a law that says that it's legal to test though!

If you look at the right side of you post, at the top you will see a little icon you can click (see where the date & time are?, look across to the right). That will allow you to change what words you put in.

Here are some guides for using DVDshrink hosted by AD. Did somebody post these? Didn't see 'em. IMHO Shrink is the one of the easiest backup tools out there (as long as the decrypting part works on your particular DVD). If not the other tools suggested here work well too...
