I've been trying to get Snes-Station to work on my ps2 using the independence exploit. I have the snes .elf stored on my harddrive, and when i run it, it seems to load fine (title screen, options all work)
The only thing is that I can't seem to get it to read my rom discs. I have tried a CD-r compilation of my own, and a DVD-R .iso compilation i downloaded specifically for use with SNES-station.
I'm curious as to whether running snes-station off the harddrive is possible to do, and if so, how did you burn your cd/dvds (any extra files?)
Unfortunately , that thread doesn't provide a way to do this without using swapmagic, knifetrick, or a modchip.
I need a way to do this with the independence exploit, if it's possible.
Since posting, I have tried a few other things, such as using MyPS2 to attempt to run an .elf off of a cd, however that did not work. Also trying to change to a CD compilation (as opposed to the DVD-R) once snes-station was loaded (off harddrive), but nothing either. Just "there are no roms on this disk."
