When I looked in the back of my broadband modem a wire was already pluged into my ethernet slot.Do I have to unplug anything and could someone please tell me how do I setup the slim ps2 for online play because I new to playing online.

well for me i dont need a online set up disk and just remove the wire from the computer the yellow wire for me becaus i got dsl so than just un pulg it from the computer and just put it on the back of the ps2 oand than put in a game and go online and if you didnt set up the onnline just go in the game and go online and it willl say make new connection. and your ready to go online...

I did exactly what randy5 said because I also have dsl. Last night I had the ethernet cable in the slim ps2 while I was playing burnout revenge and when I tried to play online it didn't work.Should I try to set up the slim ps2 with the start up disc?
