Hi

Kinda curious. We all use 4.7 gb single sided dvd media. Does anyone know where to get blank media that is single side and at least 5 gb?

also you coudl prolly just use a ISO tool like DVD Decrypter as well so u can make a RAW iso out of it Verbatim DVD+R DLs 8.5GB there is nothing better :)

Rich280..... what movie are you trying to do? there are no single layer blank media that is over 4.7G. So the next thing would be a DL disk what is 8.5G. You can use many transcoders/encoders to compress the movie and keep the quality high so it will fit onto a single layer disk. What movie, what programs are you using..... a little bit more info would be nice.

DVD Shrink and/or decrypter. I think the movie was 'Polar Express.'
I was still able to do it, am aware audio quality was compromised.
I would like to try the dual layer just to see if it works. I'm still going to stick with the 4.7 dvds though.
