Ok I got the iso files of Prince of Persia Revelations for the psp and heres the deal. I'm using devhook to open the ISO file of POP. If i open it with firmware 1.5, oviously it doesnt work. With firmware 2.0, it launches the game and then the screens goes black and the PSP turns off automatically. With 2.5, It launches and then a message appears saying ' The game could not be started. (80020148)'. But when i go to the UMD disc, the POP pic and all come up but when I launch it the same error message appears. Can anybody help me? tanx ;)

'Replace the PRXs in the ISO with the ones which have the same name (from the Street Raiders pack) by selecting
the files you want to replace, and then right-clicking and selecting "Replace Selected".'
Where do I do replace selected? I don't get this step.

You have to open up the ISO in UMDGen.(Get it from here http://www.umdgen.com )
There is an option when you right-click to "Replace Selected"

I extracted the downloaded POP and its around 500 mb. When I save it as an ISO file with UMDGen, it becomes aroung 1 gb and 200 mb. That doesn't sound right. And there isn't any "Replace Selected" in the UMDGEN.

Then you have to use an older version (2.00 or 2.01) of UMDGen.
You don't extract the whole POP!

It came in a win rar file, so I extracted the hole thing and it extracted to an iso file.

OK now open up the extracted ISO using UMDGen 2.00 or 2.01

Then do what my guide says:
'Replace the PRXs in the ISO with the ones which have the same name (from the Street Raiders pack) by selecting
the files you want to replace, and then right-clicking and selecting "Replace Selected".'
If you're using UMDGen 2.00 you should see the "Replace Selected" option.

Ok I'm using 2.0. The files on the ISO are in capital letters, and the PRX files are in small letters. When I do replace nothing seems to happen. I open the file to replace, click on it and thats it. nothing.

So have you done everything that the guide tells you to do?

Wait a minute, I just checked the compatibility list:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/loader-compatibility-list.php
And you do not need to do any modification to it. It's a Firmware 1.5 game. So it should work untouched with DevHook.
Try it untouched with Fastloader.
If it still doesn't work then your ISO is bad.

you need to choose reboot xmb in devhook and put a UMD game in ur psp

Can I add to this thread for a sec? Anyone notice that the sound is messed up? I mean all you hear are groans and clanking swords, no voices and no other sound effects.....kinda sucks really.
