I cant install the unleashx dashboard it tells me, failure batch process failed. the last item was: .action: rename, someone help.

i have only seen this when i was trying to remove a softmod.....is this the first time you are installing the softmod along with the dashboard?

i dont have a dashboard i tried removing the soft mod but then i reallized that i just deleted my dashboard so im tried to reinstall the unleashed dashboard.

you will need to FTP and delete everything that has to do with the softmod moreless all the files in E/ and make sure you have the ms dash in the C folder...

if you can still FTP you can just download the MS Dash and FTP it to your Xbox.
Or use an auto installer disc.

I cant FTP anymore because the hard drive became locked. Do I need a mod chip to unlock it or something?

even if the HD is locked (which it should be) you should still be able to FTP.....download the AID 3.0 disc and you can install the M$ dash that way too...
