hey guys i tried to softmod and replaced my maps with ppfs and everyting and signed them but what i read after i did and donwloaded everything it says i have to have halo 2 copied into the hard drive... what do i do now? can anyone help?

What?

All you should have to do it copy everything but the single player files for Halo 2 to your hard drive and overwrite the default maps with your modified maps.

yah i know but in the tut it says i have to save the game to drive E/games/Halo 2 folder and i dont have that why?

thats only if you want to mod the old maps,just FTP the patched maps back to the xbox and load the game....

oh thank you very much i just modded 2 maps lol but i dont know how but ill probably find out... but a new problem came up right when i stopped playing halo 2...it wouldnt load anything: games or dvds.

what should i do can u help me?

so the system is not loading any games or dvd's? does it not read the disc or do they not load??

install a different dashboard and try to load them off of that....if that dont work then its probably your dvd drive thats having a problem not the dashboard....if you can boot to the original M$ Dash try to load an original from there....

i found out the problem dude its the bios i remember i accidently unlocked my HDD so it said from now it it wil lboot from an original bios....well i need xecuter v4981 can u plz show me where i can get it or send me the download and send me a tut on how to put it in? plz im really frustrated

then you cant flash the bios,remove your softmod and then re-install it that should fix the problem.....

sorry for double post didint think of this when i typed the other one... ummm also if that does work which folders from my xbox do i delete to uninstall evox because in my xbox whenever i click MS Dash it justs shows the evox logo then it goes back to the evox menu does that mean i didint back it up? or what?

thats because you dont have a back-up of the MS-Dash on the xbox....use AID 3.0 to install the MS-Dash on the xbox...

download a torrent program of your choice and search isohunt.com for AID 3.0...and it should load splintercell hopefully....

dont erase that yet you wont have a dashboard then and you will get an error message...
